A little bit about Dr. Robert James Frascino:
Dr. Bob, as he's affectionately called, works as a resident HIV/AIDS expert for The Body (thebody.com). You can find him on the "Ask the Experts" page. He has done so much to help people living with HIV/AIDS ease their fear and let them know there is still life and hope as well as educate those who would simply like to know more.
Dr. Bob himself is an inspiration, living with HIV since 1991. As his bio at Thebody.com will tell you, he accidentally sustained a hollow-bore needle stick and laceration while performing a routine medical procedure on a patient with HIV infection. This resulted in his seroconversion to HIV positive. The good news is almost 20 years later he is still alive, well, and giving back.
